Bio
With over 15 years of experience in education, Mrs. Amanda Winkler, M.Ed. is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment at Scott Elementary School. She began her career as a science teacher, where she was known for her innovative teaching methods and commitment to student success.
Mrs. Winkler holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Central Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas A&M. As Assistant Principal, she plays a key role in managing student discipline, supporting instruction, and overseeing extracurricular programs. She is passionate about creating a positive school culture where students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Outside of school, Mrs. Winkler is an active member of the community, volunteering with local organizations and mentoring new educators. She believes that strong relationships between school and community are essential to student success.
